British Library: focusing on Disability Inclusion in partnership with Wideaware

We are very excited to report news of this commission: the British Library’s Business & IP Centre is focusing on ways to further the promotion of disabled-led business in the economy of capital. This commits them to ensure that their premises, policies, information, marketing materials and website are accessible and inclusive to people of all abilities.

As part of this endeavour, the British Library have commissioned Wideaware to undertake a comprehensive Access Audit to identify how their Business and IP Centre can improve their services towards disabled-owned businesses and disabled entrepreneurs. At Wideaware we are honoured to be able to provide auditing services towards an outstanding inclusive outreach strategy.

At Wideaware we are always keen to involve disabled associate trainers and professional auditors to help with their work and benefit from their expertise. In this instance Maria Zedda, Wideaware’s Managing Director will work with Eleanor Lisney, Access Advisor and Director of Connect Culture to ensure high standards of diversity and disability inclusion for the Business and IP Centre.
