The Guardian is looking for an intern for a 12-month paid placement on its Saturday and Comment pages, and on Comment is Free. This is an opportunity for a resourceful, hard-working, web-savvy person to gain valuable experience in a busy, deadline-driven environment supporting editorial and community activity online and in print.
This internship is open to all applicants with a good range of work experience on local, specialist or student media. We particularly encourage suitably qualified candidates with disabilities and from diverse ethnic, social or economic backgrounds.
The successful intern will also benefit from a tailored learning plan that will support their development over the course of the internship, and the support of a mentor from the Guardian’s editorial team.
