Wideaware advise Ofsted

Wideaware are providing consultancy services to Ofsted, the official body for education inspection to help them identify the key priorities to be addressed in the development of their Disability Equality Scheme.

Wideaware will provide feedback on what disabled people and their carers want and need most from Ofsted inspection and regulation functions and will suggest ways of promoting disability equality amongst education providers.

Maria Zedda states ‘We are honoured to be able to provide feedback to Ofsted as their implementation of the Disability Equality Scheme will have a profound and positive impact towards the integration of disabled students, teachers and employees in Education. We are delighted to be part of this Consultancy Group and hope our collective advice and suggestions will contribute to making a difference in the way education is provided in the UK.
