Wideaware at the Royal Academy of Arts

Wideaware were at the Royal Academy of Arts in London to deliver face to face training for various office and front line staff.
The session proved to be very successful and delegates stated they enjoyed the training and found it relevant to their work.
Maria Zedda, Director of Training at Wideaware, said ‘I was absolutely delighted to be there, in the most impressive room I’ve ever delivered training in, and with such an attentive and focused group of delegates’.
The Royal Academy of Arts are already taking their commitment to disability inclusion very seriously and they regularly provide BSL interpreting and lip-speaking guided tours to their galleries. The Academy has an extensive access programme with an officer available to discuss the access-related needs of those disabled visitors wishing book a visit via telephone or the website.
