Wideaware are delighted to announce we have been commissioned by Ofcom to produce a full Disability Equality Training Package which will involve interactive online training for all of their 800+ staff members across the UK.

The training comprises 5 media-rich interactive modules to support their staff in learning:

  • Disability and the DDA 2005
  • Access Barriers and Reasonable Adjustments
  • Phone and Electronic Communications with Disabled Customers
  • Visiting and setting up meetings with Disabled members of the public
  • Inclusive Recruitment.

The training package is supported by easy to use toolkits, a database of resources, Disability Scripts, and will also include Maria Zedda, our Managing Director, leading a workshop for Ofcom’s executives on the 3rd of December, Disability Equality and Awareness Day.
