Maria, said: ‘It is a great honour to receive this fantastic award and to have Wideaware Training recognised in this way. Initial support from Ready to Start has meant I have been able gain the skills to make the business grow and overcome the fear, prejudice and misconception that often stand in the way of disabled people’.
As a 100% disabled-led business we would like to become a role models for disabled would-be entrepreneurs out there who would like to start a business.
Most of all, this is great recognition towards Wideaware. Our training is competitively priced and provides fantastic, interactive and fun to use online disability equality courses moderated by disabled trainers. We are proud to say that all our training is based on the Social Model of disability and provides can-do practical advice for all who want to work with disabled people.
